Betty Mae Funkhouser Golladay, 77, of Mt. Jackson passed away Sunday, October 29, 2023, at Life Care Center in
New Market. A graveside service will be held Thursday, November 2 at 11:00 a.m. at Christ United Church of Christ
Cemetery in Conicville. Pastor Stephanie Heishman-Litten will officiate. The family will receive friends Wednesday
from 6-8 p.m. at Valley Funeral Service in Edinburg.
Mrs. Golladay was born May 6, 1946, in Virginia, daughter of the late Oren Charles Funkhouser and Della Mae
Ryman Funkhouser. She was formerly employed with Holtzman Oil and was a member of Christ UCC in Conicville.
She is survived by her husband, Alger Eugene Golladay; daughter Pamela Mae Mills (Bruce); three grandchildren
and three great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Oren Lee Funkhouser and a sister, Phyllis
