Kenneth Elwood Gilmer, 81, passed away Sunday, October 23, 2022 at Augusta Health.
Mr. Gilmer was born on June 14, 1941 in Augusta County to the late Clarence E. and Sylvia (Fulwider) Gilmer.
He enjoyed old cars and spending time with his family.
He is survived by a son, Michael Gilmer and wife Michelle; a daughter, April Seay; grandchildren, Khirstee Miah
Gilmer, James William Balser, Miranda Jewel Chittum, Felicia Dawn Jones, Wesley Dale Seay, and Jessica Paige
Seay; a great granddaughter, Kairi Dawn Jones; and the mother of his children, Pat Botkin.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by three brothers, Charles “Sonny” O. Gilmer, Johnny Lee Gilmer,
and Robert A. Gilmer; two sisters, Shirley Thompson and Beulah G. Hill.
A Graveside Service will be conducted at 11 AM, Friday, October 28, 2022 at Oak Lawn Mausoleum and Memory
Gardens by Rev. Russell Heinrich.
