Homer M. Fulk, 81
Homer "Hook" Marshall Fulk, 81, of Linville, died Monday, April 30, 2007, at his home.
Mr. Fulk was born Nov. 4, 1925, in Rockingham County, and was the son of the late John Woodward and Alice Dare Turner Fulk.
He was a farmer and was a member of Cherry Grove United Methodist Church in Linville. He was a former board member of Rockingham Poultry Marketing Co-op and a former board member of Broadway First National Bank and F&M Bank of Broadway.
On Nov. 5, 1945, he married the former G. Maxine Spitzer, who preceded him in death Oct. 27, 1998.
He is survived by four sons, Allen M. Fulk of Timberville, Carl S. and Lowell L. Fulk, both of Linville, and Dale G. Fulk of Weyers Cave; a daughter, Krystal F. Smith of Linville; a sister, Mary Sherman of Linville; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Pastor Phil Kanagy will conduct the funeral 11 a.m. Saturday at Trissels Mennonite Church near Broadway. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday at the Grandle Funeral Home in Broadway.
