Wayne Edward Freeman, 65 of Ruckersville, passed away on Sunday, October 9, 2022 at UVAHospital. He was born on
October 25, 1956 in South Carolina to the late Charles Edward Freeman and Thelma Evelyn Smith Freeman. He was also
preceded in death by his daughter, Shalon Freeman Rogers; son, Russell Scott Freeman; sister Mary Smith Schrader; and
granddaughter, Caroline Reynolds.
He is survived by his daughters, Michelle F. Reynolds and husband R. J. of S. C., Amanda Freeman of S.C; son, Brandon
Freeman and wife Jennifer of Madison; brothers, Dale Freeman and wife Sharon of Madison and Dennis Freeman of S.C.;
sister, Jayne Freeman Mahaffey of S.C.; grandchildren, Darian, Danielle, David, Aylissa, Emily, Wyatt, Madilyn, Garrett,
Jameson, and Liam.
Afuneral service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, October 15, 2022 at Fellowship Baptist Church with interment in
Madison Memorial Gardens. Pastor Dale Freeman will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at
the church.
