She born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on January 4, 1930 to the late Wallace and Rosa (Smith) Watkins.
She was educated in the Philadelphia School System and graduated from West Philadelphia High School in 1948. She received
her Christian training at an early age in the Gospel Spreading Church in Philadelphia. Here she learned to love God and was
involved in various church activities and youth groups. While attending church she met and later married her late husband,

Crossing Guard for 18 years until she retired in 1985. She also helped in the family exterminating business in an administrative
capacity until the year 2000.
She sang in various church choirs and individually for the Lord over the years. She loved to sing the praise of the Lord which
was noted on her car license tag that reads, “ISNGPRZ”. She has been a mother figure to many people in and out of the
church. She was definitely a mighty prayer warrior who has helped to encourage and uplift the spirits of people
everywhere. Her goal was to glorify God and let the love of Jesus shine in her life and she had accomplished this mission.
