Christine Powell Eppard, 93, of Stanardsville, Virginia went home to be
with her Lord on Thursday, November 10, 2022, surrounded by her
family. Born March 2, 1929, the daughter of the late Raymond Clyde
Powell and Mary Elizabeth Moyers.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving
husband, Leroy Alfred Eppard; brothers, William, Linwood, Raymond
Jr., and Thaddeus.
She is survived by her son, L. A. Eppard Jr., and his wife Cathy;
grandchildren, Misty Kolb (Robby), and Corey Eppard; great-
grandchildren, Leigha, and Benton Kolb; brothers, Meredith, and
James; sister, Nora Dillon; and many other family members and
friends.
Christine was a lifelong member of Mt. Vernon Methodist Church. She
enjoyed her flower gardens, shopping, and socializing with her
wonderful friends and family.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in her honor
to Greene County EMS or Hospice of the Piedmont.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, November 14, 2022,
beginning at 10:30 a.m. at Holly Memorial Gardens with Rev. Jimmy
Lacy officiating.
