Brenda Joan Eanes, 80, of Waynesboro, passed away on Friday, September 8, 2023 at River Edge Nursing and Rehabilitation
Center in Waynesboro.
She was born November 16, 1942, a daughter of the late Thornton Maxie and Eileen Margie (Small) Campbell.
Brenda was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church in Stuarts Draft and retired as the manager of Brandon Ladd
Apartments in Waynesboro.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Clay Eanes.
Survivors include a son, William Ray Eanes; a daughter, Cheryl Kidd and husband Ray; a brother, Ronald Maxie Campbell and
wife Nessie; two grandchildren, Jeremiah Kidd and wife Jessi, Cody Eanes; two great grandchildren; Kyndall Kidd and Christian
Kidd.
She also leaves a special daughter-in-law, Stephanie Smith and husband Tony.
Afuneral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 12, 2023 at Rockfish Valley Baptist Church with Pastor Billy
Coffey officiating.
Active pallbearers will be Jeremiah Kidd, Cody Eanes, Mike Staton, Gary Harris, Rooster Carson and Steve Bryant.
Honorary pallbearers will be nieces and nephews attending the service.
The family wishes to give a special thank you to her dear friend and caregiverAnita.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church on the day of the service.
