Betty Ann Deibert, 91, of Luray, passed away on Saturday, January 14, 2023, at
Warren Memorial Hospital in Front Royal.
She was born on January 20, 1931, in Iowa and was a daughter of the late Irvin
Henry Schmitt Sr. and Beryl Brandmill Schmitt.
Betty was a member of the Faith Presbyterian Church in Kingstowne, Va.
On November 20, 1954, she married Leonard Robert Deibert, who died on
November 21, 2019.
She is survived by a son, Chris Deibert and wife Melissa of Luray; a daughter,
Rebecca Chandler of Providence, R.I.; four grandchildren, Brannon Deibert,
Ashleigh Spencer, Olivia Lamberton and husband Eric, and Maxwell Chandler; three
great-grandchildren, Eloise Spencer, Evangeline Spencer and Catherine
Lamberton. She was preceded in death by a sister, Jean Smith and a brother, Irvin
"Bus" Schmitt Jr.
