Hazel M. Cullers, 70


Hazel Marie Cullers, 70, of Timberville, died Saturday, June 3, 2006, at Rockingham Memorial Hospital in Harrisonburg.

Mrs. Cullers was born Oct. 30, 1935, in Rockingham County, and was a daughter of the late Reason Devaugh and Laura Dove Orebaugh.

She was a poultry farmer. She was a member of Damascus Church of the Brethren in Criders, where she was a member of the Women’s Fellowship. She was also a member of the VFW No. 9660 Chimney Rock Auxiliary.

On March 13, 1954, she married Norman B. Cullers, who preceded her in death July 11, 1995.

She is survived by a son, Randy B. Cullers of Fulks Run; four daughters, Debra M. Lam of Broadway, Rita F. Dove of Mathias, Donna D. Cullers of Dayton and Barbara C. Frank of Singers Glen; five brothers, Reason "Buzz" Orebaugh of Sandy Ridge, Md., Ray and Donnie Orebaugh, both of Edinburg, Raymond Edward Orebaugh of New Market and Gary Orebaugh of Woodstock; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Pastors Franklin Tusing and Michael Shenk will conduct the funeral 11 a.m. Tuesday at Damascus Church of the Brethren. Burial will follow at the Cullers family cemetery in Mathias.

The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. today at the Grandle Funeral Home in Broadway.
