M. Catherine Cook, 83
Mary Catherine Cook, 83, of Maysville, W.Va., died Monday, July 9, 2007, at her home.
Mrs. Cook was born Aug. 7, 1923, in Landes, W.Va., and was the daughter of the late Okey Kimble and Beulah Alt Kimble Reel.
She was a homemaker and was formerly active and a member of Mount Hebron United Methodist Church and Lighthouse Community Church.
Her husband, James Otis Cook, preceded her in death April 5, 2004.
Survivors include a daughter, Linda Lambert, and a son, Roger Cook, both of Maysville, W.Va.; three brothers, Marvin "Bud" Kimble of Cabins, W.Va., Roy Kimble of Bluegrass and Harlan Kimble of Oldtown, Md.; four grandchildren, one stepgranddaughter and one stepgreat- granddaughter.
The Rev. Ann W. Harrison will conduct the funeral 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Schaeffer Funeral Home in Petersburg, W.Va. Burial will be at Mount Hebron Cemetery in Maysville, W.Va.
The family will receive friends from 7-9 this evening at the funeral home.
