Gladys V. Conner

Gladys Virginia Conner, 90, of Lexington, died Monday, March 4, 2002, at the Stonewall Jackson Hospital.

Mrs. Conner was born March 17, 1911, in Amherst County, and was the daughter of the late Oscar Trevey and Lottie White Trevey.

She was a member of the Lexington Presbyterian Church and retired from Leggett’s Department Store.

She is survived by three sons, Basil Conner Jr. of Virginia Beach, Larry Conner, Buena Vista and Roger Conner, Broadway; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Dr. William Kein will conduct the funeral at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Harrison Funeral Home in Lexington. Burial will follow at Rockbridge Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 this evening at the funeral home.
