Greg unexpectedly passed away on October 5, 2022, at Shenandoah Memorial Hospital in Woodstock, Virginia. His
death was caused by an aneurysm.
Greg grew up in New Market, Virginia. He was a 1988 graduate of Stonewall Jackson High School. Greg loved all
types of sports. The Washington Redskins being his favorite football team. He played a lot of basketball at the New
Market Park in his younger years.
Greg enlisted to the Army National Guard in 1990 and served until 1999. He was proud to follow in the steps of his
father and grandfather. He worked as a wastewater treatment plant operator for many years.
Born September 24, 1969, to father, Raymond Clinedinst and mother, Susan (Cline) Clinedinst, both predeceased.
He was their only child.
Surviving are his children, Jared K Sears of Fayetteville, NC, Brienna N Coto-Clinedinst (wife Eskarleth Coto-
Clinedinst) of Timberville, VA, and Chase Clinedinst of Mt Jackson, VA. Greg was mostly proud of his three children.
There will be a Celebration of Life held at New Market Park, Pavilion 5, on Sunday, October 9, 2022, 2pm – 6pm. In
