Jennifer L. Bruno, 44 of Harrisonburg, Va., passed away unexpectedly, on Monday, September 4, 2023, at their Vacation/Summer
Home in Hawley, Pa.
Born August 8, 1979, in Honesdale, Pa., she was the daughter of John P. Pedersen and BarbaraA. (Mizgerd) Pedersen. She was
the wife of Ramon N. Bruno with whom she shared 17 years of marriage this past April 22, 2023.
Jennifer was a graduate of Lock Haven University, earning her Master’s degree and became a Physician Assistant. She was
presently employed as an Orthopedic Physician Assistant with Sentara RMH Medical Center, Harrisonburg, Va. for the past 20
years. Jennifer loved to be a mountain bike mom, paddle board, and work out. She enjoyed spending time at the lake house and
going to the beach.
Surviving along with her husband and parents are son,Aidan J. Bruno of home; sister, JessicaA. wife, of Jay Hahn of Wind Gap,
Pa; nephew, Kellan Scott Hahn; niece, Everly Rose Hahn; maternal-grandmother, Mrs. Patricia Mizgerd of N. Catasauqua, Pa.;
uncles, John Mizgerd of Northampton, Pa. and Steve Mizgerd of Pen Argyl, Pa.; aunts; Karen Manzel of Ringwood, N.J. and
Joan wife of Robert Douel of Chantilly, Va.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. on Thursday. September 14, 2023, at Kyger Funeral Home in Harrisonburg.
