Nina J. Brunn

Nina Jeanette Eye Brunn died Wednesday, Jan. 12, 2005, after a lengthy illness. She lived in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho for the past five years in the care of Kitty and Bob Brunn.

Mrs. Brunn was born Sept. 14, 1922, in Deer Run, W.Va., and was the daughter of the late Wade Whitney and Etta Mae Dunkle Eye.

She graduated from Franklin High School and Potomac State College. She was well known for her position as court reporter for the Nuremburg Crime Trials, Nuremburg, Germany at the end of World War II and as administrative assistant at Boise Payette (Boise Cascade), Boise, Idaho.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. John "Jack" Brunn.

She is survived by four children, Margie Brunn of Salt Lake City, Utah, Susie Bourne of Lakewood, Wash., Bob Brunn of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, and David Brunn of Seattle, Wash.; a brother, Herbert Elton Eye of Deer Run, W.Va.; a sister, Sylvia Mae Hartman of Charles Town, W.Va.; six grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.

At Mrs. Brunn’s request, there will be no funeral services.
