Adam Nicholas Blackwell, 40 tragically lost his life and went to his eternal home in heaven on Monday September 4, 2023.
He was born on September 14, 1982 to the lateArgie and the late June Blackwell Shifflett.Also preceding him in death are sister,
Alice Dianna Blackwell; uncles, Harvey Blackwell, Albert Blackwell and Frank Kirksey; grandparents, Schyler and Dianna
Coleman Blackwell.
Adam by trade was a carpenter, mechanic of all vehicles and a cook. He was devoted and loved all his children and really liked to
fish, hunt, boat, baseball and softball. He loved being in his garage working on something mechanical.
Survivng family are son, Devon Nicholas Blackwell; daughters, Skyler Nichole Sexton, Autumn Dawn Bartley, Lillian Leigh
Blackwell and Ivory Lynn Johnson; brother, Erik Lee Blackwell; sister, Brittany Nicole Blackwell and D.J Brogan; half brother
David Huffman; nephews, Roran Gerald Blackwell, Cole Blackwell, Ridge Billings and Travis Brogan; nieces, Dianna Hughes
and her husband Tyler, Kira Colvin, Aislynn Blackwell, Alexis Blackwell; great niece, LettieAlice June Hughes; aunts, Lettie
Stickley and husband Charlie and Priscilla Kirksey. Also survived by many great friends and his extended family.
The family will receive friends 6 to 8 pm Monday September 11, 2023 at McDow Funeral Home.
Afuneral service will be held 11 AM Tuesday at McDow Funeral Home with interment at Edgewood Cemetery.
Active Pallbearers will be Devon Blackwell, Kullen Wade, Josh Morris, Joseph Laird, Jessica Bruce and Skyler Sexton.
