Bobby Allen Barger, age 72 of Maysville, WV passed away on Monday, January 23,
2023 at the home of his daughter, Crystal Grapes in Cabins, WV.
Bobby was born on January 14, 1951 in Jordan Run, WV and was a son of the late
Brook Barger and Ressie (Kimble) Barger. In addition to his parents, Bobby was
preceded in death by four brothers, Carl Barger, Johnny Barger, Kenneth Barger
and an infant brother, Bryson Barger.
Bobby is survived by two daughters, Melissa Strickler (Shane) of Moorefield, WV
and Crystal Grapes (Ronald) of Cabins, WV; a son, Kevin A. Barger of Maysville,
WV; two grandchildren, Chasity Grapes and Garrett Stickler; a sister, Glenna
Waldron of Maysville, WV; two sisters-in-law, Marsha Barger and Rhonda Barger;
and several nieces and nephews.
Bobby was a heavy equipment operator by trade. Bobby never met a stranger and
was always willing to offer a helping hand. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed
spending time with his family. He was a member of Jordan Run Union Church.
Bobby’s family will receive friends Wednesday. January 25, 2023 at the Schaeffer
Funeral Home from 5-8 PM.
Funeral service will be Thursday, January 26, 2023 at 11 AM in the chapel of
Schaeffer Funeral Home with Pastor Charles “Chaz” Stoner officiating. Burial will be
in the Barger Family Cemetery, Maysville, WV.
