Michael A. Arrington, 59


Michael A. Arrington, 59, of Luray, died Wednesday, May 11, 2011, at the Winchester Medical Center.

Mr. Arrington was born May 14, 1951, in Luray, and was the son of the late Lonnie W. Arrington Sr. and Edna G. Arrington.

Michael lived his entire life in the Luray area. He was employed at the Caverns Country Club for the past 14 years.

He is survived by a son, Michael A. Arrington Jr., a stepson, Josh Hall, a brother, Lonnie Arrington, and two sisters, Alma Pettit and Alice Gray, all of Luray. He is also survived by a very special step-grandson, "Little Josh," a number of nieces and nephews and a host of friends who loved him.

A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. on Sunday, May 15, at the Bradley Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at a reception following the service at the Luray Caverns restaurant.
