Wanda LeeArmentrout, 87, of McGaheysville, passed away Sunday, Sept. 17, 2023, at her home.
Mrs. Armentrout was born Oct. 19, 1935, in McGaheysville, Va. and was the daughter of the late Zeb and Belle Knight. In
addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Donald ShulerArmentrout; second husband, Glenn
“Boo” Heatwole; brothers, Frederick, Millard, Cecil, Winston and Everitt Knight, and sisters, Cleta Tutwiler, Delores
Marshall, and Anita Williams.
Wanda enjoyed gardening, a day of shopping, and she loved her pup, Cassie.
She is survived by her best friend, Juanita Burtner; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members, as well as
her special caregiver, Pat Shifflett.
Agraveside service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 22, 2023, at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in McGaheysville.
