Eleanor Delilah Racey Armentrout, 94, of New Market, passed away Friday, Feb. 5, 2010, at the Blue Ridge Hospice Home in Winchester.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, Feb. 20, 2010, at 11 a.m. at the Woodstock Christian Church, 109 S. Muhlenberg St., Woodstock, VA 22664. Burial will be private.

Mrs. Armentrout was born July 31, 1915, in St. Luke, Va., daughter of the late Jesse C. and Lillian Cook Racey.

She was a long-standing member of Woodstock Christian Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Colman P. Armentrout; three brothers, Clifford J. Racey, Delmar L. Racey, and Alfred R. Racey; and one sister, Jessie R. Acker.

She is survived by her brother, Kermit L. Racey Sr. of Woodstock, Va.; sister, Olivia R. Irwin of San Clemente, Calif.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Blue Ridge Hospice, 333 W. Cork St., No. 405, Winchester, VA 22601.
