David G. Armentrout, 38


David Givens Armentrout, 38, of Waynesboro, died Thursday, July 19, 2007, at his residence.

Mr. Armentrout was born Jan. 21, 1969, in Rockingham County, and was a son of Ruby Fitzgerald Armentrout of Waynesboro and Wendell Oliver Armentrout of Harrisonburg.

He graduated from Spotswood High School in Elkton and had previously been employed by Sammy Argenbright Construction. He was a member of Wayside Baptist Church in Waynesboro.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Rebecca Miller Armentrout of Staunton; two brothers, Scottie A. Armentrout of Briery Branch and Merle O. Armentrout of Elkton; and a sister, Desiree Wall of Motoaca.

Pastor Randy Blankenship will conduct the funeral 2 p.m. Friday, July 27, from the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes. Burial will follow at Eastlawn Memorial Gardens in Harrisonburg.

The family will receive friends from 7-8 this evening at the funeral home and other times at 88-106 Townhouse Lane, Waynesboro.
