Pierina E. Arenella

Pierina E. Arenella, 92, of 302 N. Second St., Bridgewater, died Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2002, at the Bridgewater Home.

Mrs. Arenella was born June 22, 1909, in Connecticut, and was a daughter of the late Charles and Candelora Christophero Troiani.

She moved to Bridgewater in 1997 from New Jersey. She was a member of the Roman Catholic Church.

On Nov. 27, 1953, she married Joseph Michael Arenella, who preceded her in death on Nov. 14, 2000.

She is survived by a son, Donald Tafuni of Churchville; two stepdaughters, Ida Schiavoni of Southampton, Pa., and Betty Ann Weidler of Winter Springs. Fla.; a sister, Loretta Parodi of Totawa, N.J.; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

The Rev. Gale H. Younkins will conduct a memorial service at 11 a.m. Friday in the Lantz Memorial Chapel at Bridewater Home. Her body has been cremated.

Memorial donations may be made to a charity of choice.

Arrangements are by Johnson Funeral Service in Bridgewater.
