Hensil B. Arehart

The Rev. Hensil B. Arehart, 84, of Bridgewater Home, died Friday, June 13, 2003.

Mr. Arehart was born Oct. 11, 1918, in McKinley, and was the son of the late Vaughter G. and Cora Lee Arehart.

He graduated from Bridgewater College and the Lutheran Southern Seminary. He served pastorates for 36 years in Virginia and Tennessee.

On Dec. 26, 1967, he married Nina Brubaker, who survives with Donald Walters of Winchester, who lived in the Arehart home for a number of years.

In August 1992, he and his wife moved to Bridgewater. She moved to Bridgewater Village and he moved to the Bridgewater Home.

A private graveside service will be held at Thornrose Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Henry Funeral Home in Staunton. There will be no viewing or visitation.
