Helen Jean Arehart, 91, of Staunton, formerly of 1500 North Coalter Street, went
home to be with her Heavenly Father on Wednesday, November 09, 2022 at
Augusta Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Fishersville.
Born on September 23, 1931 in Staunton, she was a daughter of Aileen Clemmer
Dean Arehart Wagner and Wallace William Arehart and the step-daughter of Harry
Walter Wagner, Sr.
She graduated from Robert E. Lee High School and the Brant School of Business.
She worked for Augusta Dairies, Inc. and then for Westinghouse and McQuay where
she retired with thirty-three years of service.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Doris A. Bocock.
Helen wished to remember her good, faithful, and long-time friend, Patricia Vincent.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at Thornrose
Cemetery at 2:00 PM. She will be buried near her parents.
In lieu of flowers, it is suggested that donations be made to the Staunton-Augusta
Rescue Squad (PO Box 2566, Staunton, VA 24401) in memory of her parents and
