Erma M. Arbogast

Erma Mary Arbogast, 90, of Circleville, W.Va., died Friday, Feb. 1, 2002, at Rockingham Memorial Hospital in Harrisonburg.

Mrs. Arbogast was born July 22, 1911, in Circleville, and was the daughter of the late Isaac G. Cook and Effie Wimer Cook.

She was employed by the Department of Commerce in Washington, D.C., for 30 years and was a member of the Circleville United Methodist Church.

On Jan. 31, 1928, she married Richard Vosler Arbogast, who died May 19, 1978.

She is survived by two daughters, Wanda Lee Grimes of Circleville, W.Va. and Jacqueline Emmart of Woodstock; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

The Rev. Stanley Kile will conduct the funeral at 2 p.m. Monday at the Basagic Funeral Home in Franklin, W.Va. Burial will be at North Fork Memorial Gardens in Riverton, W.Va.

The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
