Dreamis Arbogast

Dreamis Arbogast, 80, of Cherry Grove, W.Va., died Saturday, Feb. 21, 2004, at Davis Memorial Hospital in Elkins W.Va. He had been a resident at Nella’s Nursing Home for 15 months.

Mr. Arbogast was born Dec. 1, 1923, in Cherry Grove, W.Va., and was the son of the late Don Arbogast and Icie Teter Arbogast.

He was a farmer and historian. He was a member of Spruce Mountain Ruritan Club, where he won the perfect attendance award. He was also a member of the Circleville Fire Department.

Survivors include three sisters, Cynthia A. Hackett of Hagerstown, Md., and Rosa Lee Campbell and Betty Jean Pennington, both of Elkins, W.Va.; four brothers, Coy Arbogast and Carl Arbogast, both of Alliance, Ohio, Guy Arbogast of Elkins, W.Va., and Earl Arbogast of Cherry Grove, W.Va.; and several nieces and nephews.

The Rev. Stanley Kile will conduct the funeral 1 p.m. Friday at the Kimble Funeral Home in Franklin, W.Va. Burial will be at the Cedar Hill Cemetery in Franklin.

Friends may call at the funeral home, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday.
