Mary L. Apple

Mary Louise (Radloff) Apple, 80, of Harrisonburg, passed away on Thursday, Aug. 18, 2011, at Rockingham Memorial Hospital.

She was born in Lockport, N.Y. on Oct. 21, 1930, and was a daughter of the late Fred and Lois (Langdon) Radloff.

Mary was a member of St. Timothy's Catholic Church in Los Angeles, Calif. She graduated from St. Patrick's Catholic High School, Miami Beach, Fla. She worked and lived in Miami and Los Angeles before moving to Virginia in 2004. She was a “master bridge player” and a cat lover.

Surviving are two brothers, James Radloff and wife Lizz of Sandwich, Mass. and Ronald Radloff and wife Ann of Keezletown. Two nieces and three nephews also survive.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Apple, parents, Fred & Lois Radloff and step-mother, Hazel Radloff.
A memorial service will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 25, 2011, at White Birch Estates in Harrisonburg.
