Elsie G. Anselmini

Elsie Grace Anselmini, 87, of Harrisonburg, died Friday, March 14, 2003, at Oak Lea Nursing Home.

Mrs. Anselmini was born Oct. 9, 1915, in Chicago, Ill., and was a daughter of the late Harold and Elsa Kellner Falknor.

She was a retired bank clerk and had moved to this area from Chicago in 1998. She was also of the Lutheran faith.

On Oct. 24, 1936, she married Eugene James Anselmini, who preceded her in death on Oct. 14, 1954.

Survivors include two daughters, Violet Louise Allain and husband, Michael, of Harrisonburg, and Carol Ann Anselmini of Chicago, Ill.; two sisters, Elizabeth Drenning of Naples, Fla., and Violette Kurfess of Chicago, Ill.; and one granddaughter, Anastasia Grace Allain of Atlanta, Ga.

Mrs. Anselmini’s body was cremated at the Harrisonburg Cremation Service. The family will receive friends 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday, March 22, 2003, at the Kyger Funeral Home in Harrisonburg. A memorial service will be held at a later date in Chicago with interment following at St. Joseph Cemetery.
