William C. Angus

William Charles Angus, 76, of Woodstock, and formerly of New Market and St. Stephens Church, died Saturday, Dec. 14, 2002, at Tandem Health Care in Woodstock.

Mr. Angus was born Dec. 21, 1925, in Glen Ridge, N.J., and was the son of the late William and Daisy Johnston Angus.

After graduating from high school, he entered the U.S. Navy, retiring in 1969 with 26 years of service.

He is survived by two daughters, Elizabeth Angus of France, and Heather Bowers of Woodstock; two sisters, Betty Ackert of Williamsburg, and Margaret Mathers of Sea Girt, N.J.; and three grandchildren.

Following cremation, burial will follow at the Cedar Grove Cemetery in Williamsburg at a later date.

Arrangements are by Theis Funeral Chapel in New Market.
