Sonja L. Anderson, 55


Sonja Lou Anderson, 55, of Gallatin Gateway, Mont., died Monday, June 5, 2006, at the home of her mother in Franklin, W.Va.

Mrs. Anderson was born Aug. 7, 1950, in Franklin, W.Va., and was the daughter of Arvella Lambert Vandevander and the late John Clarence Vandevander.

She was employed at Upper Chesapeake Hospital and was a claims adjuster for Dental Network in Baltimore, Md. and Bozeman, Mont. She attended White Sulphur Springs High School in Greenbrier County, W.Va., and was a member of Walnut Street United Methodist Church.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Henry David Anderson; a son, Daniel A. Anderson of Havre de Grace, Md.; a stepson, Mathew D. Anderson of Joppa, Md.; and a brother, Gary M. Vandevander of Lewisburg, W.Va.

The Rev. Carl Tribett will conduct the funeral 11 a.m. Friday at the Basagic Funeral Home in Franklin, W.Va. Burial will be at the Cedar Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
