Shirley Barbara Anderson, 100, of Sunnyside Retirement Community in Rockingham and formerly of Broadway, died
October 13, 2023 at Sunnyside Retirement Community.
She was born August 30, 1923 in Brooklyn, NY and was a daughter of the late Fredrick and Carolyn Moss Billstein.
Shirley was a real estate agent for Real Estate III in Harrisonburg. She was a past member of Sunset Drive United
Methodist Church in Broadway.
She was married to Homer W. Anderson for 41 years before he passed away January 7, 2003.
Surviving her are a niece; Betty Morrison, of Kenmore, WA, and a nephew; Bob Billstein, of Milwaukie, OR.
Per Shirley’s wishes, her body will be cremated and there will be no services.
