Josephine M. Anderson

Josephine Marie Anderson, 82, of 296 Mountain View Road in Stanley, died Friday, Jan, 23, 2004, at MontVue Nursing Home in Luray.

Mrs. Anderson was born Jan. 17, 1922, in Pittsburgh, Pa., and was a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Leeper.

On Dec. 19, 1986, she married Charles Elwood Anderson, who survives.

She is also survived by a son, Clarence A. Robinson of Stanley; two brothers, Walter Leeper of Missouri and Robert Leeper of Baltimore, Md.; two sisters, Frances Dickerson of Richmond and Mabel Holmes of Baltimore, Md.; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

The Rev. Stephanie Sault will conduct the funeral 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Bradley Funeral Home in Luray, where the family will receive friends from noon to 2 p.m. Tuesday. Burial will be at the Stanley Advent Cemetery.
