Charles E. Anderson

Charles Elwood Anderson, 76, of 296 Mountain View Road in Stanley, died Sunday, March 7, 2004.

Mr. Anderson was born Feb. 20, 1928, in Washington, Pa., and was the son of the late Theodore and Margaret Anderson.

He was a parts manager at Chrysler Motor Company and a veteran of the U.S. Marines.

On Dec. 19, 1986, he married Josephine Marie Leeper, who preceded him in death Jan. 23, 2004.

He is survived by a son, Jeffrey Anderson of Stanley; a sister, Eleanor Maria Anderson; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

The Rev. Stephanie Sault will conduct the funeral noon today at the Stanley Adventist Church. Burial will be at the Stanley Advent Cemetery.

Arrangements are by the Bradley Funeral Home in Luray.
