Bonnie Jeanne (Sodeman) Anderson, 84, of Woodstock passed away on Sunday, October 2, 2022, in Luray. A
service will be held on Friday, October 14 at 2:00 pm at Dellinger Funeral Home (159 North Main Street, Woodstock,
VA.) In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in her name to Woodstock Library: 134 North Church Street,
Woodstock, VA 22664.
Bonnie was born on August 25, 1938, in Washington, DC, was the daughter of the late Earl and Bonita Sodeman,
and the sister to Vivian Olcott (Perry Olcott) and Earla Conner. She loved books, crossword puzzles, and eating ice
cream any time of the day. Prior to her dementia diagnosis, Bonnie loved volunteering her time at the Edinburg and
Woodstock libraries.
Bonnie is survived by her husband of 67 years, Richard Ogle Anderson, two children, Vicky Trail (Robert Swan) and
Benjamin Anderson, two granddaughters, Jessica Trail (Nicole Pontoriero) and Ali Anderson, two grandsons
Benjamin Anderson Jr. and Mathew Anderson, as well as six great-grandchildren (Benjamin III, Braelyn, Ellis, Henley,
Jayden, and Penelope.) She was preceded in death by three children, Wayne, Richard Earl, and Mary Beth
