Tommie E. Amos

Tommie Earl Amos, 61, of Harrisonburg, died Thursday, Feb. 12, 2004, at his home.

Mr. Amos was the son of Annie Sue McManus Amos of Hazlehurst, Miss., and the late Tom Ellison Amos.

He was a former Marine. He was a member of the Church of Christ. He was employed by AmeriGas.

His wife, Phyllis Amos, survives.

Surviving in addition to his wife and mother are two daughters, Kathy Vanlandingham and Pam Earls; three stepsons, Jim, Michael and Jeremy; a brother, John Amos of Hazlehurst, Miss., and five grandchildren.

A memorial service will be conducted 7:30 p.m. Monday at the Church of Christ, 50 Covenant Drive, Harrisonburg.

His body was cremated.

Memorial donations may be made to the Rockingham Memorial Hospital Hospice.
