Claude J. Ames, 64


Claude John Ames, 64, of New Market, died Saturday, Dec. 25, 2010.

Mr. Ames was born in New York and was a retired manager for MCI. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War.

He is survived by his sister, Patricia Wilkens and her husband, Martin, of Laurens, N.Y., and a companion, Nettie Dispanet of Harrisonburg.

A gathering of friends and relatives will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 1, 2011, at the Theis Funeral Home in New Market (540) 740-3312.
