Frederic A. Amburn


Frederic "Fred" Adair Amburn, of Winchester, passed away on March 27, 2010.

Born on March 2, 1930, in Pulaski, he served in the USAF and had a career in sales and advertising.

Survivors are daughter and son-in-law, Molli and Ron Ellis, of Louisa; daughter and granddaughter, Angela and Carly Amburn, of Charlottesville, and daughters, Tamara Amburn, of Montpelier, and Alicea Amburn, of NYC.

Graveside services will be held privately at Eastlawn Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends at Kyger Funeral Home, 3173 Spotswood Trail, Harrisonburg, Va., on Tuesday, March 30, 2010, from noon to 1:30 p.m., followed by a celebration and memorial service at 2 p.m.
