Thelma C. Alt, 74


Thelma Cathlene Alt, 74, of Petersburg, W.Va., died Tuesday, Nov. 7, 2006, at her home.

She was born Aug. 25, 1932, in Pansy, W.Va., and was the daughter of the late Enoch Alt and Sarah Ratcliff Alt.

She was employed at Windsor Knit Sewing Factory in Petersburg and retired from Wampler Foods in Moorefield, W.Va.

Survivors include two sons, Gary W. Pennington of Petersburg, W.Va., and Donald D. Pennington of Upper Tract, W.Va.; two brothers, Roy Alt of Cabins, W.Va., and Vinton Alt, a resident at E.A. Hawse Nursing Home in Baker, W.Va.; three grandchildren and five great- grandchildren.

Pastor Peter Scott will conduct the funeral 1 p.m. Thursday at the Schaeffer Funeral Home in Petersburg, W.Va. Burial will be at Lahmansville Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 7-9 this evening at the funeral home.
