Mable A. Alt

Mable Alice Alt, 88, of East Brighton Avenue, Moorefield, W.Va., died Monday, May 5, 2003, at the E.A. Hawse Continuous Care Center in Baker, W.Va.

Mrs. Alt was born May 18, 1914, in Hardy County, W.Va., and was a daughter of the late John A. and Regina May Baldwin Branson.

She was a member of Duffey Memorial United Methodist Church.

Her husband, Earl Alt, preceded her in death in June 1993.

She is survived by two sons, Eldon Alt of San Antonio, Texas, and Steven Alt of Tampa, Fla.; a daughter, Nancy Desantis of Springfield; a brother, John D. Branson of Moorefield, W.Va.; five sisters, Ruby Constable of Winston-Salem, N.C., Edna Zook of Phoenix, Ariz., Irene Smith of Akron, Ohio, Delores Heare of Old Fields, W.Va., and Lila Stafford of Akron, Ohio; 10 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.

The funeral will be held 2 p.m. Thursday at Duffey Memorial United Methodist Church. Burial will follow at the Olivet Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Fraley Funeral Home in Moorefield, W.Va.
