James H. Almond, 45


James Harvey Almond, 45, of Churchville, died Thursday, Aug. 25, 2005.

Mr. Almond was born Dec. 11, 1959, in Staunton, and was the son of the late Virginia Miller Sensabaugh and Charles Almond of Tennessee.

He was a truck driver for the Cigna 7-Eleven and was an Army veteran. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed the outdoor life.

In addition to his father, survivors include his wife, Tammie Darlene Almond, whom he married Jan. 2, 1994; a daughter, Brandy Almond of Stuarts Draft; two stepdaughters, Tara Hopkinson of Winter Green, and Lynzie St. Clair of Churchville; a stepson, Brian Mayberry of West Augusta; a sister, Ruby Fulton of Fishersville; and his stepfather, Amos Sensabaugh of Fishersville.

Burial will be private.

Arrangements are by Johnson Funeral Service in Bridgewater.
