Pauline V. Alley

Pauline Virginia (Liskey) Alley, 98, widow of Cecil Webster Alley, formerly of Old Laurel Hill Road, Verona, died Thursday, Aug. 25, 2011, at Oak Grove Manor in Waynesboro, where she had been a resident since February of 2008.

A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 28, 2011, at Barren Ridge Church of the Brethren (1790 Barren Ridge Road, Staunton) by the Rev. Galen Combs and assisted by the Rev. Robert E. Alley. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

There will be no public viewing.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the church and also anytime at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Mae and Bob Carlstrom, 1116 Laurel Hill Road, Verona.
