Ronl “Ronnie” Steven Allen, 59, fiancé of Connie Lipscomb, passed away on Saturday,
January 14, 2023, at his residence.
Ronnie was born on May 13, 1963, in Waynesboro, Virginia to Richard Allman and Mary
Jane Byrd Allen.
He was self-employed as a welder. Ronnie was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed
hunting, fishing, and working with his hands to make anything he set his mind to.
In addition to his parents and his significant other, he is survived by his children, Lauren
Maddox and her husband, Jeremy, Jennifer Allen and her wife, Amy, and Steven Allen; a
sister, Kim Nelson; his grandchildren, Allison Shultz, Kylee Maddox, Tucker Maddox,
Carter Walker, and Stella Plotts; and his stepchildren, Reagan, Emma, Sophie, Noah, and
Shannon.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Debra Jean Norman Allen, and a brother, Mark
Anthony Allen.
The family will receive friends on January 17, 2023, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Henry
Funeral Home.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, January 18, 2023, at 10:00 AM at Henry
Funeral Home with the Reverends Earl Monroe and Doug Brooks officiating.
