Patricia M. Allen, 72


Patricia Marie Allen, 72, of New Market, died Sunday, June 6, 2010, at the University of Virginia Medical Center in Charlottesville.

Mrs. Allen was born Oct. 10, 1937, in Washington, D.C., and was the daughter of the late Peter Chaconas and Marie Bennett Chaconas. She was a homemaker.

Her husband, Ronald A. Allen, survives. Also surviving are three daughters, Christy Thomas, Tracy Allen and Dana Allen, all at home; a son, Kevin Allen, of Frederick, Md.; a sister, Suzanne Moore, of Olney, Md.; and six grandchildren.

Father Richard Ley will conduct the funeral 11 a.m. Sunday at Valley Funeral Chapel in Bowman's Crossing. Burial will be in the Mount Jackson Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
