Ina K. Allen, 86


Ina Kathleen Allen, 86, of Magnolia, Del., died Sunday, April 13, 2008, at Kent General Hospital in Dover.

Mrs. Allen was born Oct. 27, 1921, in Troutville, Va., and was a daughter of the late James and Mattie Wright Boothe.

She was a seamstress for an apparel company and a homemaker. She was a member of the Willow Grove Church of God, the Women of the Church of God, the Modern Maturity Center and Harvest Years Senior Center.

Her husband, Ezra T. Allen, preceded her in death.

She is survived by her children James Ezra Allen of Roanoke, Linda Lois Hancock of Stewartsville, Ina Kay Elkins of North Charleston, S.C., Patricia Ann Graham and Betty Lou Boothe, both of Roanoke, Sandra Eve Welsh of Magnolia, Del., Ronald David Allen of Middletown, Rita Faye Chestnut of Hot Springs, and Alvin Wayne Allen of Harrisonburg; three brothers, Harold Monroe Boothe of Troutville, Walter Lee Boothe of Daleville and James Edward Boothe Jr. of Martinsville; two sisters, Clara Frances Greene of Troutville and Betty Ann Koger of Martinsville, and a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Pippin Funeral Home, 119 West Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, Del.

The funeral will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday at Willow Grove Church of God, Willow Grove, Del.

A graveside services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday at the Mount Jackson Cemetery, Mount Jackson, Va.
