Berlin H. Allen, age 97, of Mt. Jackson, Virginia, passed away on October 13, 2022. He was born on February 2, 1925,
to the late George and Tursie Allen.
He was married to Betty Oden Allen for sixty-three years until her passing in December 2013.
Berlin is survived by his children: Cindy Ritter, Barbara (Raymond) Jett, Heidi (Ronnie) Buchanan and George (Gloria)
Allen. He is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren, who were his pride and joy.
Berlin was a WWII veteran, a long-haul truck driver, a Deputy Sheriff and worked security at the Shenandoah County
Fair for many years.
There will be a memorial service held on November 5th at 11:00 a.m. at Cedar Grove Church, in New Market. Family
will meet with friends one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Shenandoah County Animal Shelter.
