Thelma I. Alger

Thelma Irene Alger, 87, of 288 Rodgers Road, Rileyville, died Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2002, at Page Memorial Hospital in Luray.

Mrs. Alger was born Feb. 5, 1915, in Warren County, and was a daughter of the late Ira Glenn Fristoe and Irene Cullers Fristoe.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Rileyville Church of the Brethren.

On Nov. 25, 1932, she married William Azariah Alger, who preceded her in death on Dec. 28, 1985.

She is survived by a son, Norman E. Alger of Rileyville; a sister, Helen Claig of Crimora; a grandson and three great-grandchildren.

The Revs. Eric Croft and Kenneth Graff will conduct the funeral at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Bradley Funeral Home in Luray. Burial will be in the Alger family cemetery in Rileyville.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 this evening at the funeral home.
