Betty L. Alexander

Betty Lou Alexander, 70, of Reston, died Thursday, March 27, 2003, at the Hospice of Northern Virginia in Arlington.

Ms. Alexander was born March 9, 1933, in New Market, and was the daughter of the late Thomas and Cora Higgs Alexander.

She was a homemaker and Baptist by faith.

She is survived by a son, David Alexander of Reston.

The Rev. Lester Horton will conduct the funeral 1 p.m. Tuesday at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Lee Street, New Market. Burial will follow in the Emmanuel Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 this evening at Theis Funeral Chapel in New Market.
