Daisy M. Aldridge, 79


Daisy Mae Aldridge, 79, of Cumberland, Md., died Saturday, Sept. 3, 2005, at WMHS Memorial Campus Hospital.

Mrs. Aldridge was born Feb. 28, 1926, in Upper Tract, W.Va., and was a daughter of the late Verly Clay Westfall and Grace Sarah Shook Westfall.

She was a homemaker. She enjoyed gardening, hunting, and fishing and was Methodist by faith.

Her husband, George O. Aldridge, preceded her in death March 18, 2002.

Survivors include two brothers, Leroy Westfall of Harrisonburg, and Lawrence Westfall of Moorefield, W.Va.; a sister, Betty Wimer of Milford, Del., and a number of nieces and nephews.

The Rev. Betty Kennedy will conduct the funeral 1 p.m. Wednesday at Adams Family Funeral Home, 404 Decatur St., Cumberland, Md.

Friends will be received from 7-9 this evening and from noon to 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
