Mary Margaret “Peggy” Alcombright

Mary Margaret “Peggy” Alcombright, 66, a resident of Harrisonburg, passed away Oct. 14, 2011.
Mrs. Alcombright was born Nov. 8, 1944, in Adams, Mass., and was a daughter of the late Norman and Mary Leary Roy.
She was a homemaker and better known as a “Domestic Queen” to those who knew her best.
On Aug. 3, 1974, she married Robert Alcombright Sr., who survives. They renewed their vows in August of 2004.
Also surviving are six children, Richard Tarsa Jr. of Adams, Mass., Lisa J. Puffenbarger of Elkton, Va., Kelly Bennett and husband, Tommy, of Huntington, Md., Jennifer Alcombright, Robert Alcombright Jr. and wife, Samantha, all of Harrisonburg, and Bobbijo Alcombright of North Adams, Mass.; a sister, Ruth Ann Moncheci; 16 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at McMullen Funeral Home from 7 until 8 p.m. Monday.
A funeral service and burial will be held in Adams, Mass., later in the week with Paciorek Funeral Home (1-413-743-0815) handling arrangements there.
