Gloria A. Akers


Gloria A. Akers of Fairfax, Va., passed away Sunday, March 5, 2006. She was the beloved wife of the late James Gordon Allder and of the late Carl Joseph DeMarsh. Also preceded in death by a brother, George Smith, and a sister, Donnis Murray. Devoted mother of Thomas Wayne Allder, Robert Carl (Shay) Allder, Paul Carl (Lisa M.) DeMarsh, Judith Lynne (Craig Sollom) Allder, Debra Anne (James) Lupton and Kim Ellen (Robert) Lesniak; dear sister of Robert (wife, Bobbie) Smith. Also survived by six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 11, at 2 p.m. at Everly Funeral Home, 10565 Main St., Fairfax, Va. Interment, Arlington National Cemetery on Thursday, March 16, at 10 a.m.
