Melissa T. Agnor, 97


Melissa Tyree Agnor, 97, of Buena Vista, died Tuesday, July 3, 2007, at Shenandoah Valley Health Care Center.

Mrs. Agnor was born Feb. 5, 1910, in Rockbridge County, and was a daughter of the late Lewis E. Tyree and Amanda Robertson Tyree.

Her husband, Fred A. Agnor, preceded her in death.

Survivors include two sisters, Frances Garland of Maryland and Beulah Coffman of Virginia Beach; a brother, Lawrence E. Tyree of Harrisonburg; a niece and a nephew.

The Rev. David Bain will conduct a graveside service 2 p.m. Friday at Green Hill Cemetery.
